英語学習 オンライン英会話しつつChatGPTで多読はじめました

仕事が架橋でつらすぎるけど、英語も懲りずに続けてるよ。

最近はChatGPTを使って、Simple Englishで特定のテーマについて書いてもらってそれを読むのをよくやっている。ChatGPTはすごい、「今すぐRyzan使えIntel捨てろ」とか「DropboxとEvernote、どこで差がついたのか」とか「アーロン・シュワルツは何故死ななくてはならなかったのか」とかニッチなこといくらでもSimple Englishで書いてくれるすごいこれならいくらでも読める。

まぁでもオンライン英会話の宿題もやるよ。

幻想的。これ写真なの？すごい。きっと肉眼で見るとまた違う世界なんだろうね。この世界にはカメラでは捉えきれない光景がある。これもその一つなんだろう。だから多分、ここに写っているものはそれそのものではないんだけれど、肉眼では見えない世界の一面を表しているようだ。こういう写真を見ると、普段はPCに向かっているばかりの僕も、外に出ていきたくなる。と、英語で表現すればいいのか……？難しいことを言うんじゃないよ。。。

It's fantastic. It looks lika a forest somewhere. Is it a photograph? There are differences between camera and eyes. I think even if I went there, I couldn't see this scene by my eyes. There are scenes that only human eyes can see, and there are scenes that only cameras can capture. I think both of them are true. I want to go there.

また自然系かいって感じだけど。自然しかわからん。

まぁ純粋にかっこいいよね。雄大。わかりやすい。雪山を滑るオッサン（多分）。自然の中で小さな人間が雪飛沫をあげながら颯爽と滑っていく躍動感と、その後ろで黒と白のコントラストを携えながらただ泰然としている山の対比がいいね。

というのを英語で言えと？だから難しいことを言うんじゃないよ。。。雪飛沫って英語でなんていうの……？

What is a typical day like for you?

一日の流れ。

Every morning, I usually get up before 8a.m. I jog around my house for about 20 or 30 minutes. After that I have breakfast. However, if I went to bed late the day before, I sometimes get up around 9a.m. I have to begin to work at least 10a.m. It takes about one hour to go to the office. So, if I get up late, I don't have time to have breakfast. If I'm tired, I sometimes work at home. I can work at home twice a week.

I work until about 12. Then, I have lunch. I often go to a restaurant with my colleagues. After that, I work again. I design architecture, program and attend the meeting. I work until about 7 or 8pm.

After work, I go to the supermarket to buy groceries and then go home. I cook and eat dinner. Then I do something relax until bedtime.

It is my typical day.

多読

ChatGPTに出力してもらった英語をずっと読んでる。Simple Englishで頼んだらかんたんな英語で僕の興味ある分野の話だけずっとしてくれる。

興味のある分野の話だからずっと読める。1日5000wordsはかたいし、ちょっと時間があれば1万wordsも普通にいける。多読の最初の目標とされる100万wordの道はとおいが、少なくとも1年はかからずにすみそうだ。1日1万wordsできれば100日だが……1万words分の英語を出力してもらうのがたいへんな作業。

ChatGPTに英語を出力してもらう作業を自動化したい。ちょっと工夫したらできるかな。
